At APhRC, we encourage participants to situate their work within a broad spectrum of cultural, artistic, social, political, philosophical, and psychological contexts, pushing them to engage with new perspectives, ideas, and approaches. Our programs embrace a broad definition of image culture, exploring the diverse forms that photographic images can take—from traditional photography to the most cutting-edge practices.

Alongside critical discussions and theoretical learning, we place a strong emphasis on practical skills. Workshops and courses will include hands-on, technique-focused sessions, covering key processes such as printing, darkroom techniques, and alternative photographic processes.
