Public Program
The APhRC promotes open engagement with photography through talks, readings, workshops, and public events, connecting artists and researchers with the wider community year-round and during the Athens Photo Festival. These encounters open a window into the processes, ideas, and influences that shape contemporary practice. The library space also serves as a public platform, hosting book launches, the “Unfolded Chapters” pop-up exhibition series, and curated thematic displays that reframe the collection. Together, these initiatives make the center a living archive and a hub for dialogue, discovery, and cultural exchange.
